He visto medio mundo, sólo ¡me falta ver la otra mitad! MedioMundo means "half the world," which is a saying I use: I've seen "medio mundo"... now I just need to see the other half!
What videos do I post?
-- Demos by the top international dance instructors
-- Kizomba, Salsa, Bachata music playlists
-- Interviews, chats about dance!
-- My DanceVacays
DanceVacays are something I've been doing since 2007: I take between a couple of weeks to a few months to sit in one city and focus on training in one dance. All on a budget!
The pros of traveling this way:
Sitting in one city for a time will - as opposed to rushing to see as many cities as you can - gives you a better understanding for real life and nurture friendships.
The pros for your dance:
Spending quality time with top instructors means you get attention you wouldn't get otherwise. Your mind/body also get the time to absorb what you've learned.

Kizomba Weekender in St Martin, hosted by our family on the island, SXM Loves Kizomba 💕
Anthony and I like UtbanKiz music with a good beat, and various bridges, stops, « hits » crescendos, etc. With my tango focus, especially in the past 3 years I’d been in Florida, and Anthony’s training with Fred-Nelson and Morgane, his oh-so-smooth base learned from Serge, in Paris, we blend tango and UrbanKiz naturally on the dance floor.

Amazing class with colgadas, lifts, a dramatic couple of boleos and various sacadas. Such a nice pattern for stage and this class was high-level, high-energy, fun and yet within reach. Buenos Aires, of course!

Here are some simple approaches that top dance instructors have mentioned. In this class Argentine Tango dance instructors taught at their dance studio in Tampa “paradas” (stops) where the lead’s foot purposefully interrupts the follow's step. Great teachers! I’m so glad I went!

Becoming a good lead or follow: When DANCE TEACHERS get it wrong!
Переглядів 305 місяців тому
With the occasional injury and inappropriate behavior on the dance floor, Yashmine and I felt it pressing to chat about being a good, gentle lead and follow. I'll be posting clips of our chat, but in this one I point out two occasions teachers gave instructions that are harmful to the harmony and safety on the dance floor. Teachers aren't perfect! Just keep in mind that the purpose of learning ...

The music is dance hall, it's where reggatone was derived
Yep, I know that Puerto Ricans loved the Dancehall. I was told the genre of this song might be "Bombatón" so I just took their word at it ;) Music that makes you wanna dance. Is there a name for that?
Excelente
Siiii y en París siguen inovando! Mezclan con hip hop, tarraxó, y tango! <3

Their regular classes are SO worth it! But they only do that like once or twice a year!
Albir & who?
I meant to add that LOL! Rita Szabo
Having Marta here in Orlando was so special, she is just incredible in so many ways and Davidson is one of the most fun, creative leads, generously giving space so that follows can express their creativity too. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Marta was just very down to earth as well as an amazing, strong artist. Yes, it was nice to have her in Orlando! I visited her in Milano, did you know?
Bravi
Makes me want to learn to dance
You should! Dance opens up a whole new world: a new way to appreciate and express your favorite music, a new dimension of yourself, and you find that there are whole communities centered around dance! Do it!

María Chiquita, si mal no recuerdo.
Are there any classes such as this in Kansas City Missouri
In every capital there is Kizomba! I don't know them, but try this group... reach out! facebook.com/groups/KizombaKC/

Where's the best spots for a Salsera to get some really good salsa dancing on in Costa Rica?

Nice ❤️
Thanks :)
Nice musicality,cool moves ;)
BEAUTIFUL
They are always so gorgeous!
Their every move matches the tempo of the music . I love the way they dance.
How old is baby? She was just pregnant a few weeks ago 🤔
When they did this performance, their son was almost 4 months old.
That was in 2017. That was their first performance after their first baby.
I do hope you guys did get a Shepard after God's own heart. I'm planning to relocate to Panama and researching English speaking church
nice point 2 is selling a condo there asking 85g
Not bad, it's much cheaper than the states and I like that it's almost like a little oasis. Would've liked a condo there!
@@DaliaDanceVacay I would like to at least visit this pretty place
I will! (Troy)
WOW❤️ la del bikini verde turqueza
Ive heard you must rent the beach tents and chairs as well?
I went several times and no one obligated you to buy or rent anything. I wouldn't use the mini cabanas if you haven't paid though bc they will want to charge you. Bring your own towels. There are plenty of palm trees, it's a bit breezy so an umbrella might get blown away anyway. Buy a drink or appetizer from the restaurant out of courtesy and also to taste their creations. They are soooo good! I'm a foodie and I enjoyed it
Is this beach in portobelo?
Yes, it is. Right where you would normally take the private dinghys to other islands, this is just to the left. The other islands are beautiful and some have tiny pockets of beach and others have more spacious beaches but that day the weather and water wasn't permitting us and we chilled just in the sideline beach. It was nice, free and we didn't have to spend the time to get to an island.
@@DaliaDanceVacay is it worth going to I dont want to take a tour which charges over 100 usd, so was debating to take two busses there and explore but will there be much for me to see If I do that
Portobelo fort is cute, small, a nice, small, old fort to visit. The beach is nice, but that's more or less Panama for you. Small sights. You won't have major landmarks with lots of smaller landmarks, like the Collosum and tons of Roman ruins around there. Portobelo makes for a nice, EASY weekend trip. An easy drive on the highway for most of the 1.5-2 hours outside of the capital, stop to see the fort, go on for a little while longer to the dock, then either take a dinghy to a small island beach, or just spend the day at that beach. There isn't much else, but it's easy and inexpensive. Entrance to the fort was cheap. The beach is free. Dinghys can get a little expensive.
They are great!
I correct the "combs" are called PEINETAS and is a Spanish heritage of SPAIN (European country) the dresses have no Chinese inspiration. The only inspiration is from Spain.

There were many things that came into Spain that were actually Chinese, for example the mantones. 100% Chinese. I was told that the tembleque was the part that was Chinese. That's just what I was told.
